Gas Treatment Units

  • For further transporting: The raw natural gas, pressurized to 8 – 12 MPa, is supplied to a gas processing plant. At the raw natural gas processing plant the gas is subject to separation, cooling, isenthalpic or isentropic expansion, low-temperature separation, and removal of the recovered condensate, methanol feed for the prevention of hydrate formation, and separation of the water-methanol solution. The separated hydrocarbon condensate is supplied to a condensate stabilization unit, and the water-methanol solution is transferred to the regeneration or disposal.

  • For piping to consumers: The gas is subject to treatment, pressure reduction, and outlet pressure maintenance. The configuration of the gas treatment plant includes a process unit and an operator unit. The unit is used for the associated petroleum gas purification and dehydration and separation of gas condensate and moisture removal to the dew point, preventing the hydrate formation during gas transportation to consumers or during subsequent compression at compressor stations.

  • For utilizing as a fuel: In the areas, where a centralized power supply is not available, stand-alone heat and power supply systems, utilizing APG as a fuel, are widespread. The main goal in the use of the APG in such systems is the unification of requirements for gas composition and quality. The basic requirements for the APG depend of the technical characteristics of such systems.
