Within the implementation of the Bolshehetskaya Depression Gas Fields Investment Program, ESD Company has accomplished an integrated supply of gas compressor units for a Booster Compressor Station Project at Nakhodkinskoye Gas Field, operated by TPP Yamalneftegas – an affiliate of OOO LUKOIL-West Siberia.
A tight supply schedule, caused by a possibility to deliver equipment only by winter roads, was the specific feature of the project. Consequently, the gas compressor units were supplied to the Customer site in one year.
Construction and erection operations were finalized in August, 2019. Commissioning was completed in September, 2019, and equipment was put into operation.
Bolshehetskaya Depression gas fields constitute the main natural gas production asset of LUKOIL Company in Russia. The Company’s largest natural gas field Nakhodkinskoye was put into operation in the year of 2005. The estimated reserves of natural gas in this field, located in the Yamalo-Nenetsk Autonomous Region of Russia, are around 275.3 billion m³. The estimated capacity of this gas field is 10 billion m³ per annum. The development of Nakhodkinskoye gas field infrastructure began in November, 2003. Development drilling started in February, 2004.
