The company “ESD” LLC has signed an agreement with PJSC “MMC “Norilsk Nickel” for the construction of two autonomous steam generators on the territory of the Copper Plant of the Polar branch of PJSC “MMC “Norilsk Nickel”.
This project involves a significant increase in safety, and most importantly will allow for more economical steam production. The fact is that the implementation of this project will make it possible to abandon the operation of the existing pipeline from CHP-1, which has existed since 1996 and was laid specifically for the needs of the Copper Plant and Metallurgical Workshop No. 1.
Under this agreement, the construction of two installations is envisaged: the first will run on natural gas and produce up to 40 tons of steam/hour for the Copper Plant, the second – on electricity and produce up to 4 tons of steam/hour for Metallurgical Workshop No. 1.
The cost of the contract amounted to about 2 billion rubles, and the work will be carried out by LLC “ESD” turnkey on the basis of an EPC contract.
Our employees have carefully worked out the logistics of the project. Due to the current geopolitical situation, LLC “ESD” has opened new ways of implementation, thereby increasing its competence in the field of construction production.
